The expansion of casino resorts across the United States continues to have significant impact on the gaming landscape. Driven by younger casino-goers who are abandoning traditional games in favor of more social activities and entertainment, tribal and corporate enterprises are setting the stage to deliver bigger and better experiences. Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is one such property that is leading the way.
The South Florida skyline is changing with an expansion project currently underway at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. A giant guitar-shaped hotel is one step closer to completion. The new guitar tower, pool hotel, dining, nightlife, entertainment, spa, retail and expanded casino is set to open this fall.
Anticipated to be an unforgettable experience, inside an unforgettable work of architecture, when the guitar-tower hotel opens to the public in October it will have all things adventure-seekers want. Beyond the 638 hotel rooms in the guitar tower and 168 rooms in the pool tower, the expansion will include a 10-acre lagoon pool with Bora Bora-style cabanas and an area that will include water-sport activities. The expanded resort will also include 30 new restaurants, lounges and bars, a 41,000-square-foot Rock Spa, a 6,500-seat Hard Rock Live entertainment venue, which will house its television studio, 120,000 square feet of meeting space and 3,000 new slot machines, 193 table games, and a 46-table poker room.
