This year may take the gaming industry to a new level thanks to the rapid developments in technology and the changing appetite of the market.

As 2017 began, a few trends also began to emerge in the industry. And at the upcoming Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, we look forward to seeing what’s in store for players, game developers, payment service providers and other industry stakeholders.

The largest gathering of tribal leaders and casino executives in the country, the event will be held April 10-13 at the San Diego Convention Center. It’s both the meeting place where the community gathers to learn, network and exchange ideas and a cultural celebration of success, strength and self-reliance.

Mr. Ravi Angadi, VP of Product Management at Agilysys, will moderate a panel session on Tuesday, April 11. This session provides an open forum with audience members who are eager to learn the latest in payment technologies and security. When it comes to implementing payment security protocols, gaming requirements present a unique set of workflows and guest experience challenges requiring different considerations than those found in a typical retail environment. The session will cover how gaming operators can create a more secure solution that meets the needs of their business and provide tips for planning their own deployments. The panelists will include payment security experts from VISA, Discover, Vantiv and Verifone.

Entering its 32nd year, the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention has established itself not only as the premier event for the industry but as the figurative heartbeat of Native American success. As the longest running gaming tradeshow in history, this conference delivers the insight and strategies operators need to rise to the top of the competitive gaming industry landscape.
